3D Scientifics provides the Detroit Science Center Lumenarium Exhibit with 3D animated, interactive X3D content.

The 3D image is displayed on two five foot by five foot, two-sided projection screens above the exhibit. As the image spins and reads backwards on one side, it reads left to right on the other, creating an interesting effect.

The X3D format is web based and can be viewed using a browser with the FLUX plugin installed. This enables the same file to be viewed on the Science Center website and on various net-enabled Center exhibits.
